Fire Alarm:
- If the fire alarm is activated, immediately exit the building using designated evacuation routes and proceed to designated evacuation site (see below). DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS! Be sure to take your personal belongings (coat, purse, keys, backpack, medication), providing they are readily close at hand. Encourage others to leave with you.
- Go to your evacuation site, reunite with the people you arrived with, and wait for the alarm to be turned off. Attempt to locate anyone who may not have evacuated with you and alert volunteers if you cannot.
- Do not re-enter the building unless the fire alarm is turned off. If the fire alarm is sounding, it is not safe to re-enter.
Voice Alert:
- If the voice alert is activated, listen carefully to the message and follow any instructions given. Exit the building using designated evacuation routes and proceed to designated evacuation site. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS! Be sure to take your personal belongings (coat, purse, keys, backpack, medication), providing they are readily close at hand. Encourage others to leave with you.
- Go to your evacuation site, reunite with the people you arrived with, and wait for the alarm to be turned off. Attempt to locate anyone who may not have evacuated with you and alert volunteers if you cannot.
- Do not re-enter the building unless notified by the voice alert system or by on-scene responders.
Evacuation sites:
CRC/Artist Alley/Main Stage – Go to the large soccer fields behind the CRC/Artist Alley.
COM Building/AMV Theater – Go to the large soccer fields behind the CRC/Artist Alley.
Purce Hall/Panels/Movie screening – Go to Red Square.
